How much is String art worth?

Dude 103 asked:

My wife makes this paintings from strings on a canvas. Here’s a link to show what the style looks like, but it’s not her painting (this is how she makes it) http://www.arttechnology.com/WorldWithoutString.htm

But her painting has a girl sitting down in a forest with trees around her and some sort of musical instrument in her hand. She looks sad too. All the shadows in her painting are perfect as well. So what’s the worth maybe on average?
I think the art is called GiclĂ©e, but I’m not sure.
she’s done about 6 different one’s too

    1. It’s not giclee’

    2. It’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

I’d say if she is just beggining and this is one of her first peices she could sell it from 70 to 150 dollars. If she has been at this for a long time and has a known name now she, depending on the peice, sell it from 150 to 700. It all depends on the peice, the art show, the time of year, and a bunch of other factors. My advice would be to set a price and change the price depending on the intrest.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder… The key is to find the RIGHT buyer.. It would depend on how much money the person who is buying is willing to drop.. Go to some local art shows and mark it at 2000 and see what happens… If it sells, ask more for the next one. If not, bring it down a litlle….
